Below is a listing of the 2010 Colts baseball Team and Coaches. Biographies and Statistics are on the following pages. Stay tuned leading up to our season as we'll be filling out our roster and more names will be added as we sign players.

Head Coach: Nathan Schwartz

Assistant Baseball Coach, University of Texas of the Permian Basin (Aug 2007-present) NCAA Coaches Certification, Team Pitching coach, helped lead team to Heartland Conference championship first time in school's history in 2009, in first year of eligibility.  Has had 3 players sign professional contracts, 1 Heartland Conference player of the year, 14 players named all conference.

At Eau Claire Express of the Northwoods League (2008-2009) coached 14 players signed or drafted by Major League Baseball teams, Assistant coach for team going to first post season birth in 2009. Was also pitching coach of 2009 South Division All Star Team.

                                Assistant Baseball Coach, Iowa Central Community College Aug 2009 to present; Team Catching coach and also works with hitters; Two current players have signed early with Division I schools.Played for Iowa Central in 2004 and 2005 as a catcher; 2004 squad placed fourth at the NJCAA II World Series and 2005 squad earned the Region XI Championship; Continued career at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D.; Earned degree in Business Administration from Buena Vista University.

High School Baseball

Four-year letterwinner in baseball under James Boxley at Forney High School ... four-time all-district honoree ... all-state recognition as a senior ...took team to the state championship his senior year.

University of New Mexico:   2005-2008 Pitched for the lobos in 2006 and 2008…redshirted 2007 UTPB:  2009-2010 Pitched for Nate Schwartz at UTPB in 2009 and 2010

2009: Top guys of the bullpen and helped lead UTPB to it first Heartland Conference Championship ever 2010: The top guy out of the bullpen and leads the team in appearances

Will be joining the UTPB coaching staff next fall.
