Ben Panther Pitching in 2009 The Colts Baseball program is made up of players and coaches. In this section you'll find up to the game stats on the players, biographies and information so you can know who is going to the majors soon. In the past 5 seasons, we've had 15 players enter major league baseball; last season we had 18 division I collegiate athletes play for the team. We'll be adding in players this winter as we sign them, so check from time to time to see who will be playing baseball in Laramie.
Team Roster: We will be setting up the roster throughout the fall and winter months as we sign players. Check here for a brief summary of player, position and school
Team Statistics: Team Statistics will be loaded onto the web in real time during the games. We'll also have each player's school statistics from their most recent school year Team Biographies: On line, we'll include team information for all the players and coaches; some background information about where they grew up, pictures of each player and their entire baseball career. Game cam: We are enlisting the technology to be able to host on the website a video of the game in real time so if you can't make it to a game, you'll be able to watch it from your computer. This season we'll provide home games but we plan to expand the game to include all 48 games and, of course the tournament post season. Colt's History: As we find out about our former players and what they are doing now, both within and outside of baseball, we'll try to update fans on their favorite past players as well. Players who allow contact, we'll include that as well so you can keep up with our former players. |
